One of the biggest issues in the gaming industry right now is the blatant racism running rampant throughout all sectors of the industry. That is true in any sector of the entertainment world but it sometimes goes less noticed in gaming. And we cannot keep letting companies and people get away with it.

The most recent case comes from the community manager of the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws game. Shauna Jones the aforementioned community manager for the game has been going on a tirade recently about white men and anything they do. She has shown clear racism and hatred for them and some are calling for her firing and boycott of the game.

Shauna is clearly not only unprofessional and uneducated, but also a blatant racist working for when of the biggest developers/publishers in the industry. There might be an issue with diversity in some areas and companies in the industry and that’s understandable. And not an excuse to act like this. But to show pure unadulterated hatred towards a group of people is absolutely unacceptable.

The game it self suffers from some of the same problems we see else where in Hollywood and entertainment that would need an entire article to itself to explain how bigoted they are. But for these reasons, and others, we DO NOT recommend buying this game. Stay away.
